Concern For Community

Meals on Wheels Service Project

On June 9, 2017, around 25 employees at Central Electric Power Cooperative worked together to prepare the meals for delivery and to deliver the meals to the local community.  Meals on Wheels is a program that delivers hot nutritious meals to elderly, frail and home-bound individuals.

The picture below represents Central’s volunteer drivers for the project.  The last value in the Seven Cooperative Principles adopted by the NRECA emphasizes the importance of serving the community.  We strive to create a better environment for the people in our area and look forward to next year’s project.
