OUR COMMITMENT TO SOUTH CAROLINA

KEEP THE MIDLANDS BEAUTIFUL ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY PROGRAM

The last value in the Seven Cooperative Principles adopted by the NRECA emphasizes the importance of serving the community. We strive to create a better environment for the people in our area and look forward to next year’s project.

On November 2020, Central Electric Power Cooperative agreed to participate in the Keep the Midlands Beautiful Adopt-A-Highway program. Central employees have volunteered to do quarterly litter pickups on Burning Tree Road through 2026.
